I had never heard of this before, and I was frustrated that I had to go through the whole process again.

Advisor Friends

At this point, I decided to seek the advice of my other friends, who had successfully started businesses. They told me to be persistent and not give up. They also advised me to keep detailed records of my interactions with the government clerks and to escalate my concerns if needed. One friend, Rachel, who had recently started a food truck business, gave me valuable advice on obtaining a health department permit. She advised me to ensure that my food truck met the food safety standards and regulations before the health inspector's inspection. She also advised me to submit a plan review of my truck layout, equipment, menu, and operations to avoid any issues during the inspection.
